ABCN Member Sets Quality Standards in UK
The Business Centre Association (BCA) announced the winners of its annual awards at its Industry Awards Gala Dinner held in London on November 28th.
ABCN member Orega Business Centres received the "Business Centre of theYear" award for 2003 for its center at Ash House in Staines, Middlesex.
"To receive this award is fantastic for a young business like ours," commented Paul Finch, joint Managing Director of Orega. "It validates our strategy of encouraging customers to create their own environments within our buildings, which we then compliment with our service proposition. We think this is a departure from the way the business centre offering has traditionally been packaged.
"There is no doubt that the idea that people appreciate the quality of service they receive is critical to the business center industry as a whole and this award simply demonstrates that our customers recognize that the emphasis Orega places on service levels really does make a difference."
The award winners were nominated by, and voted for by BCA's member's centers and clients across the UK in recognition for outstanding professionalism, dedication and hard work.
Last year, ABCN Member Pamela Stewart, a Facilities Manager from ABCN Member Citibase, was awarded the BCA "Personality of the Year" Award.
ALLIANCE Members are regularly singled out by their peers as leaders in the serviced Office Business Center industry. Currently, eight of the nine company Office Business Center Association International (OBCAI) Board Members are members of ALLIANCE and three of the nine company BCA Board Members are members of ALLIANCE.
